분석해 볼게요.

 

 

⭐️ 2학년 29번 지문의 주제 ⭐️

➡️ 인간의 확실성 선호도가 생존을 도왔다

 

 

 

 

✅ Human being like certainty. 인간은 확실성을 좋아한다.

✅ This liking stems from our ancient  ancestors who needed to survive alongside saber-toothed tigers and poisonous berries.

이 좋아함은 호랑이와 독이 든 베리 사이에 살아남아야 하는 우리의 고대 조상들로부터 이어진다.

⭐️ who는 주격 관계대명사이고, 선행사는 ancestors입니다. ⭐️

 

 

✅ Our brains evolved to help us attend to threats, keep away from them, and remain alive afterward.
우리의 뇌는 우리가 위협에 주의하고, 그것들을 피하여 살아남을 수 있게 돕도록 진화했다.

의 구조이므로

이 열매가 지난번 것과 같은 모양과 크기인가?

✅ If I know for certain it is, my brain will direct me to eat it because I know it’s safe.
그렇다는 것이 확실하다면, 나의 뇌는 그것을 먹도록 지시한다. - 안전하니까.

⭐️ it is the same shape as last time~을 줄여 썼어요. ⭐️

앞 문장의 be동사를 받고 있으므로, 대동사 be를 사용합니다.

Q) If I know for certain it [does/ is], ~

✅ And if I’m uncertain, my brain will send out a danger alert to protect me.

확실하지 않다면, 나의 뇌는 위험 신호를 보낼 것이다. 나를 보호하기 위해 -

✅ The dependence on certainty all those millennia ago ensured our survival to the present day,
수백만 년 전의 확실성에 대한 의존성은 현재의 우리 생존을 지켰다.

✅ and the danger-alert system continues to protect us.
그리고 위험 경고 시스템은 우리를 계속 지켰다.

주어와 동사 확인 하세요!

⭐️  This ‘이것’이 가리키는 것은 앞 문장이겠죠? ⭐️

Q) This로 시작하는 ‘문장의 위치’ 변형문제 가능합니다.

✅ by our brains labeling new, vague, or unpredictable everyday events and experiences as uncertain.

우리의 뇌가 새롭고, 모호하거나 예측할 수 없는 일상의 사건들과 경험을 불확실한 것으로

⭐️ by -ing는 동명사이고, our brains는 의미상 주어입니다. ⭐️

✅ Our brains then generate sensations, thoughts, and action plans// to keep us safe from~

그러면 우리의 뇌는 감각, 생각, 그리고 행동 계획을 만들어 낸다//

우리를 안전하게 하기 위해 

 

⭐️ 주어 our brains와 동사가 필요하므로, 5번 generateing -> generate 

 

 

그리고 keep은 5 형식 동사 + 목적어 us + 목적격보어 safe(형용사)

지문에 certain(ty), uncertain 이 계속 반복되고 있어요.

 

확실성 - 불확실성 빈칸에 써 넣을 수 있도록

 

확실히 알아두는 것이 좋겠죠?
